Hi, I’m Tsubaki 287! Welcome to “Tsubaki Travel”!
My nickname is Tsubaki, feel free to call me Tsubaki!
Since moving to Japan in 2016, I’ve been balancing my career as a marketing planner and sales professional at a Japanese manufacture. But whenever I get the chance, I pack my bags and set off on an adventure around Japan. I’ve visited all of Japan’s UNESCO World Natural Heritage sites—except for the Ogasawara Islands, which are still on my list! Now, my next goal is to explore even more World Heritage Sites around the globe.
I’m also a passionate snowboarder with five years of experience. I even have two snowboards at home! One day, I hope to obtain a snowboard instructor certification—maybe we’ll meet on the slopes and ride together in a winter wonderland! 😁
Why Did I Start This Blog?
✔ Passion for Travel – For me, travel is not just about taking photos; it’s about truly experiencing a place.
✔ Love for Outdoor Activities – From hiking and diving to snowboarding, I’m always eager to embrace nature.
✔ Passion for Photography – Writing and photography are my ways of documenting memories and sharing the joy of travel.
✔ Love for Sharing – I want to share my experiences and knowledge with fellow travelers like you!
Through my independent travels, I’ve realized that with smart planning—using transportation passes, optimizing schedules, and designing efficient itineraries—you can visit more places without breaking the bank. I believe that travel doesn’t have to be expensive or rushed. With the right information, you can explore top destinations efficiently while also discovering hidden gems.
This realization inspired me to create this blog—to share my travel insights with more people. Through “Tsubaki Travel”, I hope to help you plan smarter, avoid unnecessary detours, and immerse yourself more deeply in each destination.
Beyond Travel Blogging: Japanese Life & Finance Tips
Besides this travel blog, I also run a Japan life & finance website “Tsubaki in Japan” , where I share money-saving strategies, investment tips, and tax-saving techniques for those living in Japan.
If you or your friends are working or residing in Japan and want to save money, invest wisely, or find great deals, feel free to check it out!
